End Welds...
In an assembly with shell compression defined, the surface will collapse to the mid-plane or defined compression plane. If the compression plane edge of one part does not intersect the compression plane face of the other part a small gap between the parts will result.
The End Weld option will automatically extend the edge of one part to intersect the compression plane face of the other part.
