Feature or Part Suppression is probably the most common method people use to simplify a model for FEA. It may not be the best way however. Before going wild suppressing features you should consider creating a Simplified Rep. Feature Suppression can be easier, better and faster to work with if you know that the features you are eliminating will never be needed again. The best way to use this option is to first create a Layer. Put all of the features that you would like to suppress in one or more layers. Then you may Suppress or later Resume by layer.
