Read the Log File and Check Model Summary...

During the translation from Pro/MECHANICA Integrated Mode to Independent Mode a Log file is created. If there are any error or warning messages during the translation a message window will pop up with that information. View the Log file and read all of the messages. You may be informed about some invalid geometry or possible problem geometry.

Next check the Model Summary window. This can be found at the top tool bar under Review. The model should have one volume for each Pro/E part (and volume region) in the assembly.

If there are volumes missing there may be a crack in the geometry due to a translation error. Use the Review>Entity command from the top tool bar along with the Volume option along the right side Design menu. Select Volumes with the mouse to see witch one is missing.

If you find the missing volume, and you are daring you could try to create a new volume to see where the crack is. From the right side Design menu select Main>Geometry>Volume>General and select one of the surfaces that should be on the exterior of the missing volume. If there is a crack Pro/MECHANICA will highlight that area.

Possible solutions may be to de-feature the offending geometry, recreate the geometry in Pro/E using a different technique, fudge the geometry so that it is approximately the same but not exact, try an IGES or STEP file round trip into Pro/E or repair the geometry in Independent Mode and run the model there.
